A bitter heart finds no peace like a forgiving heart.

  • Recognizing
  • Accepting
  • Breaking

Thank you for taking the time to come in to read my blog, my prayer is that you are Blessed and you too are able to break free of all bitterness. As I have shared before my blogs are very transparent and authentic as it being even as my diary.

I share this today because this needs to be logged in history. I encourage you all that read to take up writing, journaling, logging as it is for the future encounters of others. Someone needs to read it.

Today I share with you all a place that many can find themselves in but fail to recognize it.  For sometime I too failed to recognize it.  I was in a place of having bitterness in my heart and it was taking over me, once I came to accepting that I was in that place I was able to seek the breakthrough.

Ephesians 4: 31-32

“Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.”

I have encountered much deception in my walk with God and I have understood that each encounter was to make me stronger and process me even more to actually be effective in the Lords ministry.  I have found myself in a dark place a many of times but each time I find myself coming out quicker and stronger then ever. One thing we must understand is that its ok to sit and just observe for awhile where you are at and what is taking place in your surroundings. There is nothing wrong with that.  Many times we are running in different directions seeking a word from God but we are seeking in all the wrong places and God intentionally is not allowing us to hear absolutely anything at all and in this we become a victim and start to believe we have a sense of entitlement to hearing something and God is saying NO YOU DON”T …  Hope that made sense! What I want to say and I hope your hearing me is that we must first run to God and surrender completely to Him to hear the instruction and direction He has for us.

We can’t become afflicted or detached from the process because its not going the way we want it to.  Sorry but it just does not work that way.  We must accept and surrender to His will and way to come to even understand the why of it all.

I found myself in a place where I was blocking people I really do care and love because I thought they had to answer my ever question and that is not the case at all.  God would not allow them to answer.  What happened… I chose to become bitter.  I let bitterness seep into my very soul.  That’s an ugly place to be.  Its not anyones responsibility to answer questions and struggles you may have, you must learn to run to God and completely surrender to His process for your life.  You may be encountering life altering circumstances, a lost of a loved one, infidelity, abandonment and honestly God allows this to happen to see in which direction you will turn.

Listen to me… its not Satan!!  He has no permission what’s so ever to touch your soul or to afflict you in anyway shape or form.  Hope your hearing me and understanding this.

Everything happens for a reason and or purpose.  Its all going to work out for your own good.  So with all this being said don’t allow your circumstances, situations to afflict you to the point of becoming bitter.  First forgive yourself, forgive others ask for forgiveness and move into the new chapter of being free of bitterness. True happiness comes from the gift of forgiveness. Forgiving others and forgiving yourself only leads to the spirit of peace and joy. It takes courage to open your heart again after being hurt, but God rewards the ones who are courageous in his name. Have faith and do unto others the way you want others to do unto you. We all have hurt people, we all have committed selfish acts and done things we regret, so don’t crucify and hold a grudge towards those who have hurt you. It’s not easy, but lean on these verses and not on your own understanding, for they shall give you strength to be free of bitterness.
