Stay TRUE to yourself

stay-true-to-yourself-quote-1

Ephesians 2:10 ESV

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

We fall short when we are not true to ourselves, I share this because I see it happening all around. I have to ask why?

Why are you not pleased with yourself?

Why do reject who God has created you to be?

Why be like someone when eventually you will get tired and regret that you where not who God created you to be.  Something to think about.

This all aligns itself with learning to love everything imperfect about yourself to the point that you will do everything it takes to build yourself into believing in yourself to be exactly whom GOD has created for you to be.

I truly believe that each one of us has been created for something great. We tend to not see this in ourselves and many times we are allowing this to create room for us to not remain true to ourselves.  As a minister of His word I too can fall into this trap.  Amazingly great things can be taken place and I can be totally oblivious about it.

We must be careful not to look down on ourselves and also not to mimic others and their doings. God wants you to feel confident about who we are.

Identity is a huge factor. Listen to me carefully when I say “Your not the only one” that faces this struggle. The beauty behind all this is acknowledging where you are and how your feeling. If you remain silent truly nothing can be done. You see that’s exactly where Satan wants you in a place of silence. When you can sit before the presence of God and say I yield onto you, my life is not my own it is then you will come to understanding who you really are in Christ.

You will then understand the DNA you carry, it’s not the DNA of anyone but Gods. Isn’t that Beautifully done.

He is such a good good Father that He wants to assure us that “Being True to Ourselves” creates room for Him to be magnified and as well glorified.
