God of convenience

God’s Word advises us to use our time wisely because He knows that there are many things in life that can distract us from what truly matters. Do not waste your time so that you look back with regret – you do not know what tomorrow holds!

Ephesians 5:15-17

Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.

Is He your God of convenience?

Are you searching only when I situation arises?

Been there done that!

Many know that I’m extremely open and transparent and say that my blog is with authenticity resides. I have felt to share this for sometime now and have started to write but for whatever reason pause. I have decided this evening I will release what the Lord has placed for me to share.

It’s very unfortunate that we fall into the trap of serving God at our own convenience, to the point to justify even our actions. I am open to share this because as I mentioned above “I have been there and have done that.” After, many years I was able to learn it just won’t work that way. He can never be second He is always First.

When we treat God as a God of convenience we delay each promise over our life. We don’t see things going as God has promised… Who’s fault is that? Have you ever wondered? Yes… I know your thinking there is no condemnation and your absolutely right, But there is what I call reality!

We can’t blame anyone, truly we must know that not one word of God will ever return void. So what’s the problem…. the problem is the priority that we give God. We seek Him only when we need Him. We commit to Him only when we are in a situation or a bind. I have news it’s never gonna work that way. You will always be at a loss and in a situation.

God wants all of you! Not just Part Time you and only when your in a crunch.

I know this can be harsh to chew on but I needed someone to tell me this along time ago. I needed to hear that I was seeking God only at my convenience, only when I had an issue. I’m grateful for those bold people that walk into your life and say “You need to prioritize” stop making so many excuses and stop crying wolf your in that situation because you have chosen to be in a part time relationship with someone who wants you all the time. It’s time you make a change.

The beauty at the end of this message is that God is a God of Opportunity!!

Today is your opportunity!

Will you stop seeking Him only when you need Him to resolve your issues?

Be Blessed

Be Encouraged

Be Inspired
