Jesus said to them, “Only in his hometown, among his relatives and in his own house is a prophet without honor.” Mark 6:4
It’s a painful place. It’s a lonely place. My intentions are good this is what says the Lord. How do I remind myself and remain in the alignment with God. I want to share His greatness with all, His message, His Faithfulness. When I do it’s misunderstood and becomes an EPIC failure.
Jesus is it me?
Where am I going wrong?
Do I not say anything at all?
Why should I have to feel this way?
It hurts. You feel in your heart that you are right, but no one else thinks so. It is a very painful thing. In fact, I do not know that there is anything more painful, and if you want vindication, it is a very real desire. I suspect that there is no one who does not have something in their background, some area of his life where he has been misunderstood or hurt. He just wants to have his name cleared in the eyes of maybe one or two.
God wants to vindicate us. Here is the bad news: it has to be done His way and in His time. A verse that confirms this is found in
1 Peter 5:6: “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.”
For anyone reading this that is feeling the same way I tend to feel often stay humble, but don’t remain silent. I have noticed the more I remain silent the more I hurt myself. There is a time for everything and things must not remain unaddressed as that would be lack of diligence.
As you draw near to God and He continues to call Deep unto Deep pray for strength to overcome that every moment your feeling misunderstood and ask God to step in and bring understanding. My point is don’t stop doing what God is telling you to do because no one around you seems to understand.
Yes! It’s hard I know this as I live it out daily. Don’t quit!! Stay in it God in His time will step in due time. And trust me on this one I personally have seen Him do it over and over again. Sometimes it’s a long process but trust God’s track record He will do it!
Keep going Don’t Quit!
God is calling Deep unto Deep!
